4/28/08: Dining Out?
The newly decorated Chalet Porch is now available for Breakfast!
For the cool nights a porch heater is available. Enjoy the early
morning sun, a cup of coffee and the sounds of the surrounding nature. Breakfast
is served!!!
1/31/08: The Chalet of Canandaigua receives a "3 Star Exceptional Rating" from
Frommer's!
We were thrilled to have been reviewed and subsequently included in
Frommer's Third Edition of New York State. To have received their hightest
rating exceeded our expectations! Our review is available HERE for you to enjoy! You can also find us in the Third Edtion
of Frommer's in What's New in NYS, The BEST of NYS and our great review
on Page 336. We look forward to having a direct link to our Frommer's
review once they have updated their website. We also look forward to
sharing our home with past and future guests! We hope you will visit
us and see if you agree!
10/4/07: Live Broadcast at The Chalet
Stone Hill of Big Dog Country FM will broadcast live from the Chalet of Canandaigua on Sunday October 14th from 1pm 4pm. All are invited as the Chalet features the tastes of Canandaigua with gracious donations from Fiddlehead Concepts Catering, Chocolates from Sweet Expressions, cooking spices from the Canandaigua Spice Company and wine tastings from Wilhelmus Estate Winery.

3/3/07: Grand Opening!
After extensive preparations, The Chalet of Canandaigua opened for guests on March 3rd, 2007 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house celebration. Over 150 visitors, toured The Chalet to share in the celebration of this great new bed and breakfast. Friends, family, neighbors, local dignitaries and invited guests, including members of the Lee family wandered the property enjoying the transformation of this family home into The Chalet of Canandaigua.
3/3/07: Mary Ellen Weiss wins a free night at The Chalet!
As part of the Grand Opening Celebration, Mary Ellen Weiss won a free night's stay at The Chalet when her name was drawn at random from a pool of 138 entries who signed up at The Chalet's website.
Congratulations Mary Ellen! We look forward to hosting you at The Chalet.
